Richard Sequeira

Richard Sequeira MBA has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Richard is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of the Financial Services Portfolio at GFT Technologies, where they lead and grows the team responsible for providing digital differentiation to leading financial institutions in the Americas. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President of Financial Services at GFT Technologies, where they were responsible for accelerating digital-driven growth in partnership with financial institutions across the Americas.

Before joining GFT Technologies, Richard co-founded President Enterprises Inc in 2022, where they served as a co-founder. Richard also worked as the Vice President of Sales at Genpact in 2021, contributing to the company's sales efforts. From 2019 to 2021, Richard held the position of Managing Director of Financial Services at TELUS, where they successfully led the company's IT services financial services go-to-market strategy and business development function, assisting North American major companies with their digital business transformation.

Richard's previous experience includes serving as the Canadian Market Engagement Head for Financial Services at Cognizant from 2016 to 2019, where they executed the defined Cognizant strategy for the financial services vertical in Canada. Richard also worked as the Vice President of Sales at Cynosure Inc in 2015, leading a team focused on simplifying core insurance systems transformation. Additionally, Richard worked as the Regional Sales Manager at TEKsystems Global Services in 2012 and as an Advisory Sales Specialist at IBM from 2011 to 2012, managing relationships with clients and delivering value across the client's value chain.

Earlier in their career, Richard held the position of Strategic Relationship Manager at Wipro Technologies from 2007 to 2011 and served as the Director of Business Development for Syntel's Insurance Business Unit in North America from 2003 to 2007, achieving significant YOY growth and cultivating relationships with C-level insurance executives.
