Ilse Volkstedt

Ilse Volkstedt is an experienced professional in health promotion and education, currently serving as a guest lecturer in the Minor Seksualiteit en Diversiteit at De Haagse Hogeschool since November 2021, and as a health promotion officer at GGD Haaglanden since July 2021. In addition, Ilse has been a freelance Dutch language trainer since March 2019 and has owned Ilse Volkstedt Training en Ontwikkeling since July 2015. Earlier roles include advisor for rainbow policy at Gemeente Haarlemmermeer, project coordinator at COC Haaglanden, and developer and trainer for Movisie. Ilse holds various educational qualifications, including certifications in preventing digital bullying and a background in music and movement from Conservatorium Rotterdam. With a focus on reducing discrimination and promoting the acceptance of LHBTI+ individuals, Ilse has developed and executed interventions, trainings, and collaborations with local and national organizations.
