Damian Duffy

Damian Duffy has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Damian is currently working as the Manager, Drug Substance at GH Research, where they are responsible for leading the drug substance development, scale up, and commercialization of psychedelics for the treatment of depression. Prior to this, Damian worked at APC Ltd for nearly 10 years. In their role as Engineering Functional Lead, they managed a team of over 20 chemical engineers, setting objectives, managing performance, and providing feedback. Damian also developed novel technologies for crystallization processes and conducted reaction engineering. Damian also has experience as a Research Engineer at APC Ltd. Before joining APC Ltd, Damian worked as a PhD Researcher at University College Dublin (UCD), where they focused on controlling crystallization processes using process analytical technology. Additionally, they have worked as a Pharmaceutical Researcher at Janssen, Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson and Johnson, and Bristol-Myers Squibb.

Damian Duffy completed their education in a chronological order. Damian attended St. Benildus College from 1999 to 2005, where the specific degree and field of study are not provided. Following that, they studied at University College Dublin from 2005 to 2009, and obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in the field of Chemical Engineering.
