An Van Den Bulcke is a seasoned professional in the fields of business development and research, currently serving as Co-founder and Chief Business Developer at 4Tissue since March 2023, where the focus is on regenerative medicine and innovative therapies for tissue reconstruction and anti-aging. In addition, An has been a Senior Business Developer at Ghent University's ChemTech unit since June 2011, promoting projects addressing market needs in the life sciences. Previous experience includes co-founding and serving as CEO of AVROXA, specializing in innovative polymers for biomedical applications, as well as roles in R&D and quality management at Polytechnisch Bedrijf P.T.B. and technical management at Solvay. An began their career as a researcher at Innogenetics and holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Ghent University, along with a postgraduate degree in Packaging Management from Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
