Krishan Weber

Krishan Weber is a Principal at ghSMART and is the first employee of the firm in Germany where he focuses on building a footprint in this strategically important market. He serves clients in the areas of leadership assessment, leadership development, talent management and organizational change so that they can achieve their ambitious objectives and create cultures that allow the organizations to strive.

Krishan previously worked as an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company in Munich and Washington D.C. The majority of his work he focused on delivering transformational change. As part of that he dedicated large parts of his work on his passion – PEOPLE – therefore, large cultural change programs and top-team effectiveness studies were successfully created under his leadership. During his 8 years with Volkswagen he also served as Director of Corporate Strategy and General Secretary for VW North America. During challenging situations such as the VW Diesel crisis or the steering of the turnaround for VW North America, Krishan proved his leadership skills and allowed him to get deep insights of what it takes to create winning teams in the business world.

Krishan studied in London, Paris and Berlin and holds a double Master in Management degree from the ESCP Europe as well as a Bachelor in International Business from the International School of Management. Earlier in his life he dedicated his energy on becoming a professional football (soccer) goalkeeper. Having played for one of Germany‘s top football clubs enabled him early to learn about the various facets of team dynamics and how to steer it positively to win.

Krishan was born in Germany and lives in Munich and remains a strong supporter of his home team Borussia Dortmund.
