Derek Gallardo

Derek Gallardo, LEED AP, Fitwel Amb., has a diverse and extensive work history in business development and sustainability strategy. Derek began their career at EYP Architecture & Engineering as a Senior Associate in 2000. From there, they joined GHT Limited as a Sr. Project Manager in 2002 before moving on to KTA Group in 2005 as Vice President and Director of Sustainable Strategy and Business Development. In 2011, they joined HITT Contracting Inc. as Director of Business Development - Corporate Interiors. Currently, Gallardo is the Director of Business Development at GHT Limited, a position they have held since 2014. In this role, they locate potential business, develops market strategies, and negotiates deals.

Derek Gallardo, LEED AP, Fitwel Amb., has a background in electrical engineering from Clemson University. In addition, they were a graduate of Leadership Arlington in 2016. Derek also attended Balboa High School in the Republic of Panama. Derek has obtained certifications such as Swift Water Rescue Technician & Boat Operations from Spec Rescue International in 2023, Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) from NAEMT-PHTLS in 2022, and is certified as an Emergency Medical Technician, Basic by NREMT.
