Alison Reid

Alison Reid serves as the Director of GIBS Business School since September 2017 and has been a Leadership Development Coach since January 2006, specializing in executive coaching and facilitation. Previously, Alison held various key positions at the Gordon Institute of Business Science, including Associate Director of the Personal and Applied Learning unit, where development of world-class learning practices occurred, and Senior Manager overseeing Management Career Development Programmes. Alison's background includes experience as a board member of the Graduate School Alliance Education of Coaches and managing a small business focused on leadership development. Prior to coaching, Alison worked in clinical polysomnography at King Fahad National Guard Hospital and engaged in scientific research at the University of Witwatersrand Medical Campus. Educational qualifications comprise a Masters of Management in Leadership and Coaching from Wits Business School, multiple certifications in coaching and leadership, and an Honours degree in Psychology.
