Xolani Mhlaluka serves as the Executive Director of Human Capital Development at GIBS Business School since March 2019, bringing extensive experience in human resources across various industries. Previous roles include HR Executive on Sabbatical, Head of Human Resources at Norton Rose Fulbright, and Senior Executive - Human Resources at SAICA CA(SA). Xolani has developed and executed human capital strategies, contributing to organizational management committees and leading teams of HR specialists. Earlier positions involved formulating people strategies at First National Bank and providing HR advisory services at De Beers, alongside foundational HR support roles at Sappi Fine Paper and Richards Bay Coal Terminal. Xolani holds a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Psychology and Philosophy from the University of the Witwatersrand, a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, and completed the Senior Leaders Development Programme at Wits Business School.
