Chip Lang

Chip Lang has a diverse range of work experience in the oil and gas industry. Chip has served as the Director of US Operations & Engineering at Gibson Energy, where they developed budgets and training programs, as well as identified opportunities for growth. Prior to that, they worked at NorthStar Midstream as the Vice President of Operations & Engineering, where they were responsible for negotiating commercial deals, designing pipelines and terminals, and operating crude oil and diesel terminals.

Additionally, Chip has worked as a Consultant for Flour Daniel, providing pipeline and project execution expertise, and as a Founding Member of Paradigm Energy Partners and Starmex Midstream, where they created privately backed midstream operating companies. Chip has also served as the Vice President of Pipeline Engineering and Design at Excel Midstream Solutions, the Senior Director of Engineering at Howard Energy Partners, and the Director of Pipeline Engineering & Design at Audubon Engineering.

Chip began their career as an EIT at the US Army Corps of Engineers, where they ran a concrete and materials testing lab. Chip later transitioned to the private sector, working as a Project Manager at CenterPoint Energy.

Chip Lang earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering from Mississippi State University.
