Gibson, McAskill & Crosby was established in 1988 when a partnership was formed by experienced trial attorneys, George "Mike" Gibson, James McAskill and Brian Crosby. The firm was founded upon the philosophy that combining the experience and resources of a large law firm with the benefits of a smaller team-oriented approach would permit the firm to develop a successful practice handling complex litigation matters throughout the state.

Gibson, McAskill & Crosby has experienced planned and controlled growth over the years. At our core we remain a trial firm built on relationships. We are conveniently located across the street from both the state and federal courthouses in downtown Buffalo, and within driving distance to many municipalities, including Niagara Falls, Rochester, Syracuse, Albany, Binghamton, Cleveland, and Toronto, Canada. The firm also maintains an active practice in the courts in the New York City metropolitan area.
