Kamil Burganov

Senior Vice President, Infrastructure Investments at GIC

Kamil Burganov has a diverse work experience, starting in 2007 as an Analyst in the European Energy Team at JPMorgan. Kamil then worked as an Associate at Xenon Capital Partners, where they evaluated and executed investment opportunities in power, infrastructure, natural resources, and energy-related services. Kamil also led the acquisition process and monitored portfolio companies' performance. In 2013, they briefly worked as a Business Development Associate at SustainX, focusing on energy storage. Kamil then moved on to J.P. Morgan as a Vice President in Transport Infrastructure Investment Banking until 2018. From 2018 onwards, they held various board member positions at companies such as GIC, Budapest Airport, Associated British Ports, and CETIN. Kamil also served as a Board Member (Alternate) at Heathrow from 2020 to 2022.

Kamil Burganov completed their Specialist Diploma in Economics from Moscow State Institute of International Relations (University) MFA Russia MGIMO between 2002 and 2007. Kamil then pursued an MBA degree with a dual major in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management from The Wharton School, completing it between 2012 and 2014.
