Lai Huat Ong

Lai Huat Ong has a diverse work experience in technology and finance. From June 2022, they have been serving as the SVP, Lead Core Strategist in the Fixed Income & Quant division of GIC's Technology Group. Prior to that, from May 2020 to May 2022, they held the role of VP, Lead Core Strategist in the same division. Lai also worked as VP, Regional Lead Europe from May 2017 to April 2020, overseeing technology operations in the Europe office, including procurement, end user support, and IT infrastructure. Lai Huat also served as VP, IT Project Manager from June 2016 to April 2017, managing the implementation of multiple Real Estate analytics platforms. Before that, they held roles as AVP, Senior IT Analyst from April 2013 to May 2016, and as an Associate IT Analyst from June 2010 to March 2013, both focused on Real Estate technology at GIC. Prior to joining GIC, Lai worked at Accenture as an IT Analyst from December 2009 to May 2010.

Lai Huat Ong completed a Bachelor of Engineering, specializing in Computer Engineering, from Nanyang Technological University Singapore between 2006 and 2009.
