Samir Hasanov

Samir Hasanov has extensive work experience as a software engineer and solutions architect. Samir most recently worked at GiddyUp as a Senior Software Engineer starting in November 2022. Prior to that, they worked at LifeOmic as a Senior Software Engineer from December 2021 until November 2022. Samir also worked at Tillster, Inc. where they held multiple roles, including Solutions Architect from April 2021 until December 2021 and Senior Software Engineer from July 2018 until April 2021. Samir was a team lead for a new distributed, micro-service based, fully serverless platform hosted on AWS. Samir was also a Senior Software Engineer at The Gold Club Of America from July 2017 until June 2018, a Software Engineer at PASHA Bank OJSC from June 2016 until June 2017, a Software Development Team Lead at Neuron Technologies from August 2016 until February 2017, a Software Engineer at Bank of Baku from December 2013 until May 2016, and a Software Engineer at Ultra Technologies Company from January 2013 until November 2013.

Samir Hasanov obtained a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing processes automation from Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry, where they studied from 2007 to 2012. Samir then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Engineering at Baku Engineering University, completing their studies from 2012 to 2014. In addition to their academic qualifications, they hold several certifications, including the OpenJS Certified Node.js Application Developer and OpenJS Certified Node.js Services Developer from the OpenJS Foundation, obtained in December 2021. Samir also has certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS), including AWS Certified Developer - Associate (DVA) obtained in December 2019, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA) obtained in September 2019, and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner obtained in July 2019.
