Theophilus Fredrick

Head of Product Design at Gidi Mobile

Theophilus Fredrick has been working in the design industry since 2016. Theophilus started at Xplosio Creative as a Design Lead, where they attempted to build a design studio. In 2018, they worked at Miraton Matador Group-MMG as a Visual Designer, crafting brand identities for two subsidiaries. That same year, they also worked at Ringier AG as a UX/Visual Designer, working on key brands such as Milo, Nescafe, Jack Daniels, Heineken, Durex, Dettol, WorldRemit, and FBNQuest. In 2019, they moved to Gidi Mobile, starting as a Product Designer and later becoming a Senior Product Designer. In 2021, they joined CareerFoundry as a UX Design Tutor and the Design Leadership Forum as a Member.

Theophilus Fredrick is currently enrolled in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they are pursuing a degree in Human-Computer Interaction for User Experience Design at MIT CSAIL. Prior to this, they attended The Interaction Design Foundation from 2018 to 2020, studying User Experience Design. Before that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University, which they completed in 2016.
