German Garcia Pajares y Cespedes has extensive work experience in various finance and management roles. German started their career at Procter & Gamble, where they worked as a Controller and Finance Manager in different divisions. German then moved on to Microsoft, where they held several senior finance positions, including Senior Controller and Senior Finance Manager. After that, they joined Cisco Systems as the Chief Financial Officer for Mexico. German also pursued an EMBA at the Kellogg School of Management.
In 2016, German joined Giesecke+Devrient as the Vice President of Finance & Administration for the Mexico, Andean Region, and CA&C. German later became the Director General & Managing Director for the same regions, and currently holds the position of Global VP and Executive Manager | Director General & MD ePayments and Mobile Security - North LATAM at Giesecke+Devrient.
Throughout their career, German has demonstrated strong leadership skills and expertise in finance and administration.
German Garcia Pajares y Cespedes holds a Kellogg MBA (Executive MBA) from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, which they completed from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de las Américas Puebla, where they studied from 1995 to 1999. In 1998, German also participated in the International Scholarship Program at Texas Christian University. Additionally, they completed a period of study in Industrial Engineering at UPAEP from 1994 to 1995. German's earliest education experience was at Volkswagen de México - Escuela de Capacitación (ESCAP) from 1987 to 1990, where they specialized in Technical Electromechanics.
