Katherine Phillips

Katherine Phillips is an accomplished Federal Affairs Manager at Giffords, having served in this role since November 2015 after starting as a Federal Advocacy Associate. Prior to this, Katherine held the position of Grassroots Development Associate at Americans for Responsible Solutions from March to November 2015. Additionally, Katherine was a Chancellor's Fellow at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from June 2014 to March 2015. Early in their career, Katherine gained valuable experience as an intern at The White House in the Office of the First Lady during the summer of 2013, and at the Democratic National Convention Committee in the Office of the CEO. Katherine also interned for US Senator Kay R. Hagan in July 2011. Katherine earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Global Studies and French from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2014.
