VP Process Improvement & Innovation at Gift of Life Donor Program

Kailin Tu has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries and roles. Starting in 1995 as an Industrial Engineer at the Atlanta VA Medical Center, Kailin later worked as a Senior Management Engineer at OCHSNER CLINIC LLC in 1997. From 1998 to 2000, Kailin served as a Senior Decision Support Analyst at Holy Name Hospital before transitioning to work as a Systems Engineer at Nokia from 2000 to 2003. Kailin then returned to Holy Name Hospital as the Director of Performance Engineering from 2003 to 2009. Following that, Kailin worked as a Senior Performance Engineer at Premier, Inc from 2009 to 2011 before joining Meridian Health as a Manager Performance Engineering from 2011 to 2014. Kailin then took on roles at Holy Name Medical Center, first as the Director Of Process Improvement and Analytics from 2014 to 2017 and later as the Assistant Vice President of Process Innovation and Analytics from 2017 to 2022. Currently, Kailin works as the VP of Process Improvement & Innovation at Gift of Life Donor Program starting in 2022.

Kailin Tu holds a Masters's degree in Health Systems with a focus on Health Care within the field of Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with High Honors from the Stevens Institute of Technology. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Lean Healthcare from North Carolina State University and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers in 2006.
