Tony Nguyen

Tony Nguyen has worked in the tech industry since 2004. Tony began their career as a Systems Administrator at Starcrest Products of California, Inc. where they were responsible for maintaining daily operations of multi-user computer systems, managing, monitoring, and supporting multiple production, Quality Assurance, and development servers. In 2007, Tony joined Oracle as a Senior QA Test Engineer, where they performed hardware and software testing for the CPU, Memory, FATAL Error Handling FMA (Fault Management Architecture), System threshold sensors (Voltage, Temperature), Power-On-Self-Test FMA, Storage, DR (Dynamic Reconfiguration) to support Oracle Servers. Tony also automated test cases and test suite written in perl, bash, and python. In 2019, Tony joined GigaIO as a Senior QA Test Engineer, where they performed hardware and software qualifications for GDR (GPU Direct RDMA), NVMeoF and Redfish API features. Tony also developed test plans, test specifications and test cases to cover various aspects of the GigaIO products. Additionally, they helped other QA teammates to learn efficiently and understand new testing features.

Tony Nguyen received a Bachelor of Science from California State University, Fullerton in 1985. In 1995, they obtained a CNA Novell Networking Certified certification from Ingram Micro Technical Education Center.
