Carter Martin

Carter Martin has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Carter is currently working as a Senior Sales Engineer for Gigamon since June 2019. Prior to this, from May 2018 to June 2019, they worked as a Sales Engineer for Major Accounts at Radware. At Radware, their responsibilities included analyzing customer networks, providing solutions, conducting demonstrations, and offering post-sale support. Before Radware, they worked as an Account Executive at ScienceLogic from April 2015 to January 2018, where they helped deliver IT monitoring platforms to global service providers, enterprises, and government organizations. In 2012, Carter joined VSS Monitoring as a Senior Sales Engineer, responsible for designing and promoting VSS-based solutions for customers in the Southeast and Federal Government. Carter also managed the East Coast team of Sales Engineers. Prior to VSS Monitoring, Carter worked at nPulse Technologies as a Senior Sales Engineer from June 2011 to April 2012. Carter started their career as a Pre-Sales Engineer at Endace in 2007, where they worked until March 2011. Before that, they worked as a Pre-Sales Engineer at Premiere Global Services from February 2005 to February 2007. Carter began their career at Equant in 1999 as a Senior Consultant in Infrastructure and Business Application, where they worked until February 2005.

Carter Martin attended Broken Arrow High School from 1985 to 1987. After completing high school, they joined the USAF from 1987 to 1991, where they studied Electronics.

In terms of additional certifications, Carter Martin acquired various certifications after completing their formal education. In 2023, they obtained an Associate Cloud Engineer certification from Google Cloud. In 2022, they earned the Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge v.4 from the Cloud Security Alliance and became a VMware Certified Technical Associate in Data Center Virtualization. Carter also received the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the same year. In 2021, Carter completed two online courses, "Introduction to 5G" and "Understanding Edge Computing in a Cloud Computing World," on LinkedIn.
