Eduardo Mesa Barrameda

Eduardo Mesa Barrameda has a diverse work experience in the software development field. Eduardo currently works as a Staff Software Engineer at Gigamon. Prior to this, they worked at Entrust as a Software Developer and System Integrator from November 2020 to July 2022.

Before their role at Entrust, Eduardo worked at Sectigo as a Software Developer from September 2018 to November 2020. During their time at Sectigo, they worked in a scrum-based agile environment, using various tools such as Jira, Jenkins, Github, and SonarCloud. Eduardo developed GO REST services in the cloud, worked on a Certbot-Citrix plugin, and developed a SSH key Discovery system.

From June 2014 to August 2018, Eduardo worked at Entrust as an SI/Developer in the Professional Service Group. Eduardo developed applications for managing digital certificates and integrated them with other technologies such as LDAP Directories and Identity Managers.

Prior to Entrust, Eduardo worked at Jitisoft as a Software Engineer from October 2012 to December 2013. Eduardo worked in an agile development environment, using Github and Gravity for version control and issue tracking. Eduardo developed a Chrome extension to serve as a client-side notification engine.

Eduardo's earlier work experience includes being a Research Assistant at Carleton University from April 2008 to August 2012. Eduardo worked on the analysis and design of algorithms for Mobile Agents. Eduardo also had a brief stint as a Contract Professor at Carleton University.

Eduardo started their career at the University of Havana, where they worked as an Instructor Professor from August 2002 to July 2011. Eduardo also worked as a Software Developer during their time at the University, participating in projects related to Geographic Information Systems and developing libraries for geometric algorithms and rational arithmetic.

Eduardo Mesa Barrameda began their education in 1997 and completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at the University of Havana in 2002. Eduardo then pursued further studies and started their PhD candidacy at Carleton University in the field of Computer Science in 2011. Eduardo'sPhD candidacy continued until 2015.
