Zeeshan Ahmad

Zeeshan Ahmad has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Zeeshan is currently employed at Gigamon as a Sales Engineer, where they provide technical sales support for Gigamon products and solutions. Their responsibilities include performing specialized systems engineering tasks, conducting technical presentations, and designing network monitoring architectures.

Prior to that, Zeeshan worked at Symantec as a Senior Sales Engineer/Solution Architect. In this role, they demonstrated products to both technical and non-technical audiences, led Proof-of-Concepts, prepared and presented technical proposals, and identified product requirements based on customer input. Zeeshan also played a key role in coordinating technical product evaluations and collaborating with sales representatives and other teams to ensure customer success.

Before Symantec, Zeeshan worked at GBM in various roles. As a Senior Solutions Architect, they focused on designing and implementing secure applications architecture, conducting security assessments, and building SOC (Security Operations Center) and CSOC (Cyber Security Operations Center) environments. In their earlier role as a Solutions Architect, Zeeshan designed and implemented web and cloud security solutions. Additionally, as a Regional Security Consultant, they served as the product lead for F5 and Bluecoat in the Gulf region and worked on developing CSOC for customers using SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) solutions.

Zeeshan's prior experience includes working as a Senior Security Consultant at Help AG, a Senior Web Application Infrastructure Specialist at Emirates, and a Technical Manager Production Services (DevOps) at i2c Inc. At Help AG, they provided security consulting services, while at Emirates, they specialized in web application infrastructure. During their tenure at i2c Inc., Zeeshan gained extensive experience in handling production operations, configuration management, and application deployment and administration.

Overall, Zeeshan Ahmad has a strong background in technical sales, solution architecture, and security consulting, with expertise in network monitoring, SOC/CSOC design, SIEM solutions, and web application infrastructure.

Zeeshan Ahmad completed their Bachelor of Computer Science (BCS Hons) degree from Hajvery University from 2001 to 2005. Zeeshan also obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the same university from 2001 to 2004.

In terms of additional certifications, Zeeshan Ahmad acquired several credentials in the field of technology and security. In 2012, they earned the Product Consultant LTM certification from F5 Networks. Subsequently, in 2013, they obtained the 101: Application Delivery Fundamentals and 201: TMOS Administrator certifications from the same institution. In 2014, they achieved the 301b - LTM Specialist: Maintain & Troubleshoot certification.

Continuing their professional development, Zeeshan Ahmad earned the 304 F5 APM Technology Specialist certification in 2015, followed by the 303 F5 ASM Technology Specialist and 302 F5 GTM Technology Specialist certifications in the same year. In 2016, they obtained the 401: F5 Certified Security Solution Expert certification.

Zeeshan Ahmad also acquired certifications in various security solutions. In 2016, they completed the Blue Coat Security Analytics Administrator (BCSAA) certification from Blue Coat Systems, which was acquired by Symantec. In 2018, they obtained the Symantec Certified Specialist (SCS) – Symantec™ Blue Coat ProxySG 6.6 and Symantec Certified Specialist (SCS) – Symantec™ Blue Coat Secure Sockets Layer Visibility v2.0.1 certifications. Additionally, they achieved the Symantec Certified Specialist (SCS) – Administration of Symantec™ Advanced Threat Protection 3.0 certification twice in 2018. Moreover, they attained the Web Security Service Sales Expert certification in the same year.

Zeeshan Ahmad further expanded their expertise by earning the IBM Certified Deployment Professional - Security QRadar SIEM V7.2.7 certification in 2018. In 2019, they completed the F5 Certified Solution Expert, Cloud (F5-CSE, CLD) certification from F5 Networks and the Symantec™ Certified Master Network Security certification from Symantec.

Most recently, Zeeshan Ahmad obtained the Citrix Certified Sales Professional (CCSP) certification in 2020 and the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft in 2022.
