Vishal Doshi

Vishal Doshi has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Vishal is currently the Head of Analytics at Gigasheet, a position they have held since February 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Nike for four years, starting in 2019. At Nike, Vishal held various roles including Senior Director of Commercial AI/ML Engineering, Interim Leader of Commercial AI/ML Engineering, and Director of Engineering for Advanced Analytics & Machine Learning. Before joining Nike, they worked at Celect, Inc., where they served as the Director of Engineering and Senior Data Scientist. Vishal also worked as a Principal Data Scientist at Recorded Future. Additionally, Vishal has experience in government and public sector organizations. Vishal worked as a Special Assistant to the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics at the US Department of Defense and as an Analyst for the National Broadband Task Force at the Federal Communications Commission. Vishal also served as a Confidential Assistant to the Federal Chief Information Officer at The White House. Prior to that, Vishal worked as an Online Marketing Analytics Manager for Obama for America. Vishal began their career as a Research Assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and later served as a Honors Teaching Assistant for Calculus at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Vishal Doshi has an extensive education history in the field of engineering and computer science. Vishal attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2005 to 2008 and earned two Master of Science (S.M.) degrees. The first S.M. degree was in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science, while the second was in Technology and Policy. Prior to their time at MIT, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering and Mathematics at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2002 to 2005.

Additionally, Vishal Doshi obtained a certification in Deep Learning Specialization from DeepLearning.AI in January 2023.
