Hala Saleh

Hala Saleh is an experienced professional with a strong background in strategic product management and business strategy. Hala currently holds the position of Affiliate Instructor in Strategic Product Management at the University of Washington, where they started in 2023. Prior to this, they served as the VP of Product at GigaStar starting in 2022. Hala also held the position of Principal Product Manager at Manifold from 2021 to 2022. Before that, they worked as a Senior Product Manager at Amazon from 2020 to 2021. Hala's career also includes roles at Expedia Group, where they served as the Director of Business Strategy & Supply Product Management from 2019 to 2020, Director of Product Management from 2017 to 2018, and Senior Global Product Manager from 2016 to 2017. Hala also has experience as the Founder of 27Sprints, LLC, where they provided product management and agile/lean coaching and training from 2014 to 2016. Hala has held the position of Director of Product Development at Rentler from 2013 to 2014 and worked as an Agile Coach and Project Management Consultant at Slalom Consulting from 2012 to 2013. Lastly, they started their career at Goldman Sachs as a Project Manager from 2010 to 2012 and worked as a Software Program Manager at Hewlett Packard from 2006 to 2010.

Hala Saleh began their education at Jubilee School from 1993 to 1997, where they obtained their high school diploma. Hala then attended Wellesley College from 1997 to 2001, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, Hala Saleh has also obtained a certification as a Certified Scrum Professional from the Scrum Alliance, although the specific time of obtaining this certification is unknown.
