Ahmed Khalifa

Ahmed Khalifa has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Ahmed currently holds the position of Chief Sales Officer (CSO) at Giift since 2023. Previously, they worked at Finastra where they held multiple roles including Sales Director, Partners Ecosystem, EMEA and APAC - Universal Banking, Director, MEA Head of Partners & Ecosystems, and Country Manager, KSA & Bahrain. During their time at Finastra, Ahmed implemented global partner strategies, managed international teams, and maximized brand awareness in different regions.

Ahmed also served as a Non Executive Director at GooTarget in 2022 and held roles at Oracle as a Territory Sales Manager, KSA and at egabi Solutions as FSI Sales Lead, KSA. At Oracle, they achieved significant revenue growth and received an award for a large PaaS deal. At egabi Solutions, Ahmed exceeded sales targets and developed strong relationships with key clients.

Furthermore, Ahmed has experience in business engagements and commercial relationships as the Manager, Banks Business Engagements at Fawry Banking and Payment Technology Services. Ahmed successfully launched and managed business development for bill payment services for major banks in Egypt.

Before that, Ahmed worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Raya Holding for Financial Investments and as a Software Developer in the Armed forces Military services - IT. Ahmed started their career as an Internship Trainee at the National Bank of Kuwait.

Ahmed Khalifa completed their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Modern Academy Maadi, from 1998 to 2003. Ahmed then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School, from 2019 to 2022. In addition to their formal education, Ahmed Khalifa also completed the Harvard Fintech Course offered by Harvard University in 2019. Ahmed further expanded their knowledge by obtaining the Google Cloud Foundations certification from LinkedIn in February 2022.
