Shekhar Barua is a seasoned quality management professional with extensive experience in quality control and assurance within the apparel industry. Currently serving as the Quality Control Manager at G-III Apparel Group since March 2019, Shekhar previously held leadership positions including Head of Quality Assurance and Compliance at Contempo Oversees Ltd., Quality Assurance Manager at C&A Sourcing Bangladesh Hub, and Quality Control Manager at Redcats Asia Ltd. With a foundational role as a Senior Inspector at Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services, Shekhar has cultivated a robust skill set focusing on maintaining high-quality standards, compliance, and technical support throughout the supply chain. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts from Chittagong University and a university graduate degree from Chittagong Municipal Model High School & College.
