Toby Staveley

Toby Staveley has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2000 as a Co-Founder of The Graduate Group, where they focused on business development and the adoption of new technology. In 2004, they founded ChargeBox, a market leader in out-of-home charging solutions, and led the business strategy from prototype to international success. Toby then founded the Yellow Submarine Charity in 2008 and served as its Founder until 2016. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Consultant for Digital for Good. In 2018, they co-founded and served as CEO of Edtopia, an edtech spinout from Oxford University that was later acquired. Toby's role as Chief Operating Officer at Do Nation in 2021 involved enabling meaningful climate action through their platform. Toby co-directed Nature and Nurture in 2022 and currently serves as the Director of Operations at Giki, where they focus on employee engagement and helping people make sustainable choices.

Toby Staveley began their education by earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and Politics from The University of Manchester between 1997 and 1999. Following this, in 2005 and 2006, they pursued a Master of Science degree in the Institute of Psychiatry at King's College London. Most recently, in 2022 and 2023, Toby attended BPP where they studied AAT Accountancy, focusing on the field of Accounting.
