Andy Eaton

Andy Eaton has a diverse work experience with various roles at Gilbert Gilkes and Gordon Ltd. Andy started as an Apprentice Machinist in 1986 and worked at the company until 1991. After taking a sabbatical leave during which they traveled, they returned to Gilbert Gilkes and Gordon Ltd in 1991 as a Sales Engineer for Aftersales, specializing in spares and service. In 2000, they transitioned to the role of Machinist, working with CNC lathes, machining centers, and conventional boring machines. In 2005, they started their own company called ae autosearch ltd, where they were the Owner until 2008. Andy then returned to Gilbert Gilkes and Gordon Ltd as a Hydro Sales Engineer, responsible for organizing international sales visits and meeting annual sales targets. In 2014, they became the Head of Sales for Africa, Latin America, and Oceania, before being promoted to Head of Sales - Hydro in September 2021.
