Sonia Hallen

Sonia Hallen is an Investment Manager at Gilde Healthcare, leading private therapeutics strategy within the Venture & Growth team since March 2024. As the Founder and Board Member of Digital Biosciences, Sonia is pioneering the use of Artificial Intelligence to personalize therapies for patients. Previous roles include Vice President at EQT Life Sciences, Board Member at ViCentra, and Board Observer positions at Evommune and Nobi Smart Lamps. Sonia has experience as an Associate at LSP, a prominent Life Sciences investment firm, and as a Consultant in Life Sciences at Accenture UK. Earlier in their career, Sonia served as a Stem Cell Therapies Scientist at CSIRO and founded InfectDetect, focusing on innovative solutions for infectious diseases. Sonia holds a PhD in Regenerative Medicine from Imperial College London and has advanced degrees in Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology from EPFL and Imperial College Business School, along with a Bachelor of Engineering from McGill University and a Diploma in Language Arts from Charles University.
