Allen Carter

Allen Carter has extensive experience in IT security and management, currently serving as the Director of IT Security Operations at Gilead Sciences since 2015. Prior to this role, Carter held the position of Director of Information Technology & Security at The Healthcare Colloquium and worked as a Security Engineer at PARC. A significant portion of Carter's career was spent at NASA Ames Research Center, contributing over 15 years to various IT security, management, and systems engineering projects in roles such as Information Technology & Security and Sr. Systems & Security Engineer. Earlier positions include consulting and management roles at S&C Electric Company, RECOM Technologies, and Sterling Software, alongside extensive experience in the photographic industry.
