Kristen Pela

Kristen Pela is an experienced leader in the fields of learning, communications, and knowledge management, currently serving as the Head of Learning, Communications & Knowledge Management at Gilead Sciences since January 2016. Previously, Kristen held roles at Johnson & Johnson, where responsibilities included developing the "Contract University" communications training program and managing training and communications for the U.S. Region Contracting Competency Center. Other positions include Manager of Training and Development at Forest Laboratories, overseeing training strategy across multiple business units, and Technical Trainer at Schering-Plough, where high-impact technical training programs were designed and delivered. Kristen Pela holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Education from Felician University and a Master of Science in Administrative Science from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
