Darren Johnson

Darren Johnson has extensive experience in various roles related to operations, procurement, and supply chain management. Darren is currently serving as the Vice President - Operations at Gilmore since April 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Dril-Quip as the Global Director of Category Management & Procurement from December 2019 to June 2022.

Before joining Dril-Quip, Darren was with Weatherford, where they played a significant role in the transformation of the Surface Wellhead business. This included implementing major changes such as designing and installing the first S&OP system used in Weatherford's history.

Darren also spent several years at FMC Technologies, where they held various positions, including Senior Global Corporate Category Manager and Global Sourcing & Procurement Manager for the Subsea Services Division. During their tenure, they achieved significant cost savings and developed frame agreements to cover 100% of product families.

Additionally, Darren has worked at Cooper Industries Ltd., Mahle, Lear Corporation, Trico Products, and United Technologies Automotive in roles related to commodity management, advanced purchasing, supplier quality, and quality engineering.

Their diverse experience across multiple industries showcases their expertise in operations, procurement, and supply chain management.

Darren Johnson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix - Livonia, MI.
