Design Engineer at Gilo Industries

Dan Carter has worked in a variety of positions since 2002. Dan began their career as an Aerospace/Mechanical Engineer Apprentice at GKN Westland Helicopters in 2002. In 2004, they worked as a Trainee Programmer/Customer Service/IT Support for Wessex Information Solutions and Noveos, and as a Production Operative for MJ Pictures. From 2005 to 2009, they worked at Brotherwoods Automobility as an Apprentice and Mechanical Engineer, Welder/Fabricator/Machinist/Sheet Metal Worker. Dan then worked as a Machine Setter/Operator at South West Packaging from 2009 to 2010. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as a Sheetmetal Worker/Machinist/Welder at Omnis. Finally, they worked as a Machine Operator/Welder at Wessex Profiles from 2011 to 2014, and is currently a Design Engineer at Gilo Industries Group.

Dan Carter completed a High School degree at Gillingham School from 1997 to 2002. Dan then completed an Advanced Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering at Brotherwood Automobility and Yeovil College from 2005 to 2009, as well as a National and Higher National Certificate in Mechanical Engineering from Yeovil College during the same period. Finally, Dan Carter obtained a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Design from Bournemouth University from 2012 to 2016.
