Design Engineer at Gilo Industries

Mike Emptage has worked for three organizations throughout their career. Mike began their career in 2008 as a Sales Assistant for the Blacks Leisure Group. Later that same year, they joined the Royal Navy as an 815 Sqn Deputy Air Engineer Officer. During their time in the Royal Navy, they held various roles including Maritime Aviation Training Phase 3 Course Officer, 760 Sqn Air Engineer Officer (AEO), Specialist Training Group Officer, 849 Sqn Deputy Air Engineer Officer, Air Engineer Officer Training, and Royal Navy Officer Training. In 2016, they joined Gilo Industries Group as a Design Engineer.

Mike Emptage completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) Honours in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Hertfordshire between 2003 and 2007. Mike then went on to pursue their Master of Science (MSc) in Engineering and Management from the University of Portsmouth between 2014 and 2015. Finally, they completed their Master of Science (MSc) in Unmanned Aircraft Systems Design from the University of Southampton between 2015 and 2016. Mike attended Warminster School from 1997 to 2003.
