Amir M. is a seasoned professional in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors, currently serving as the Director of Pharma Business Development and Strategy Biologics at Ginkgo Bioworks, Inc. since July 2022. Amir has a robust background in immunology and biologics, having held key positions at various companies such as Scion Life Sciences and Ceptur Therapeutics, where responsibilities included managing study plans, budget building, and strategic market analysis. Prior experience includes roles at Repertoire Immune Medicines and Abbott, with a focus on discovery immunology and biologics target validation. Amir also contributed significantly to the scientific community as the co-chair for the esteemed 2017 Gordon Research Seminar on Epigenetics, and holds a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of California, Davis, and a BS in Biology from UC Irvine.
