Ankit Gupta

Ankit Gupta is a distinguished leader in artificial intelligence and machine learning, currently serving as the Head of AI and Senior Director of ML Research at Ginkgo Bioworks, Inc. Previously, Ankit co-founded Reverie Labs, where the role of CTO was held until the company was acquired by Ginkgo. Additional experience includes research roles at Vicarious AI and teaching positions at Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, where Ankit contributed as a Head Teaching Fellow and Machine Learning Researcher. Early career experience includes software engineering at Palantir Technologies. Ankit holds a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude with highest honors, and a Master of Science in Computer Science, both from Harvard University.
