Karen Tepichin

Karen Tepichin, currently serving as the General Counsel at Ginkgo Bioworks, Inc., previously worked as a Partner at Foley Hoag LLP in the Licensing and Strategic Transactions Group. With a background in Economics and Biology, Karen has extensive experience advising companies in the life sciences and technology industries on various strategic transactions. Prior to their current roles, Karen also worked as an Associate at Foley Hoag LLP and Ropes & Gray LLP. Karen's academic experience includes serving as a Teaching Fellow in Economics at Harvard University and as a Research Assistant at Harvard School of Public Health. Karen holds a JD from Harvard Law School and a BS in Biology and Economics from Duke University.
