Lisa Marie Miller

Lisa Marie Miller is a Laboratory Program Manager in the Biosecurity Division at Ginkgo Bioworks, Inc. since July 2023, with prior experience as a Scientist I/II at Thermo Fisher Scientific from July 2020 to May 2023, where responsibilities included leading AAV and Lentivirus vector manufacturing processes, client collaboration, and troubleshooting. Previous roles include Research Associate I/II at the Iowa State University Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory, where Lisa conducted RNA/DNA extraction and PCR testing, and Laboratory Animal Technician at The Ohio State University Laboratory Animal Resources, managing care for laboratory mice. Lisa has also held research positions at The Ohio State University Aronoff Laboratory and the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute, focusing on genetic research and tropical ecology. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science in Evolutionary Biology from The Ohio State University and has furthered education at Iowa State University.
