Jen Rubnitz

Jen Rubnitz started their career in 2010 as an Associate at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, specializing in transactional corporate law practice with a focus on private and public merger and acquisition transactions. Jen was actively involved in various aspects of the deal process, including drafting agreements, coordinating due diligence, negotiating with opposing counsel, and assisting with general corporate matters. In 2014, they joined Gunderson Dettmer as an Associate, where they specialized in the representation of emerging growth companies throughout their lifecycles. Jen dealt with corporate formation and governance matters, venture capital financing transactions, and a variety of M&A transaction structures. Jen represented a range of technology companies and venture capital firms. In 2017, they moved to GIPHY as an Assistant General Counsel.

Jen Rubnitz obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from New York University School of Law from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology and Spanish at the University of Southern California from 2003 to 2007.
