Megan Delong

Megan Delong is an experienced professional specializing in community outreach, advocacy, and volunteer management. Currently serving as the Neighborhood Network Coordinator and Project Coordinator at Habitat for Humanity of Summit County since September 2020, Megan also holds the position of Grant Program Facilitator at Girl Scouts of North East Ohio. Previous roles include Substitute Crisis Intervention Specialist at the Battered Women's Shelter and The Rape Crisis Center of Summit and Medina Counties, where responsibilities encompassed providing advocacy and safety planning for survivors. Additionally, Megan has successfully directed volunteer programming and community education initiatives, including launching a podcast focused on educational topics related to intimate partner violence. A graduate of The University of Akron with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Criminology/Law Enforcement, Megan's diverse background also includes marketing and customer service roles.
