Amanda Duquette

Chief Membership & Marketing Officer at GIRL SCOUTS OF NORTHEAST TEXAS

Amanda serves as the Chief Marketing and Membership Officer for Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas (GSNETX), overseeing the marketing, membership, and information technology divisions, including the member services, volunteer training, family and volunteer recruitment, troop placement, and technology/digital experience teams. Through this role, she promotes the confidence-building value Girl Scouts provides to all girls, engaging girls K-12 in the Girl Scout Leadership Experience.

Amanda has more than seventeen years of experience in nonprofit administration and communications. Prior to joining GSNETX in 2016, Amanda served as the Sr. Director of Communications for Big Thought, where she led a strategic rebranding effort of the agency and managed the Service-Learning Adventures in North Texas (SLANT) program with the NCAA® and North Texas Super Bowl XLV Host Committees. Amanda also served as an account executive with The Reeds Public Relations managing marketing, fundraising, and special events for several Dallas-based nonprofit organizations.

She holds a bachelor's degree in communications and English from East Carolina University and a master's degree in public administration and nonprofit management from the University of Memphis. Amanda is a member of the Kappa Delta Sorority Alumnae Association. She is the recipient of two PRSA Pegasus Awards and was named a 2017 Dallas Business Journal 40 Under 40 honoree. She is a graduate of Leadership Arts, Women’s Leadership Pipeline, and the CCC Leadership Program. Amanda serves on the Girl Scouts of the USA Latinx Advisory Committee and in 2019 served on the national Marketing Advisory Committee.

Amanda is the proud mom to three boys and is an active volunteer in the PTA, serves on the executive board of the Rockwall Women’s League, and in her church’s children’s ministry.
