Dr. Shannon S. Moon

Dr. Shannon S. Moon possesses extensive experience in educational leadership, volunteer coordination, and literacy coaching spanning multiple educational institutions and organizations. Currently serving as a volunteer at Carlmont High School and Ralston Middle School, Dr. Moon also holds a key role with the Girl Scouts of Northern California as a Program Support Manager. Previous contributions include long-term volunteer efforts at Redwood Shores Elementary School, where Dr. Moon specialized in literacy and math coaching across various grade levels, as well as significant experience as an English and AVID teacher at Hayward High School. Dr. Moon's academic credentials include a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and a Master's degree from Mills College, along with a Bachelor's degree in English Education from the University of Arizona.
