Shveta Sundar

Shveta Sundar is a Mechanical Engineering student at The University of Texas at Austin, expected to graduate in May 2026, with a concurrent pursuit of a Certificate in Computer Science. Currently serving as an intern at Jacobs focusing on Artemis Main Propulsion Systems, Shveta also contributes as a Recovery Avionics Hardware Engineer at Texas Rocket Engineering Lab, where design and testing of avionic hardware are emphasized. Leadership roles include serving as the Advancement Chair for the UT Austin Society of Women Engineers, directing sustainability initiatives, and participating in multidisciplinary projects with Longhorn Rocketry Association and Texas Aerial Robotics. Shveta is actively involved in promoting interest in astronomy and astrophysics as an IAAC Ambassador and has engaged in various competitions related to these fields.
