Erica Dombro

Erica Dombro is a Senior Product Development Engineer at Giro Sport Design since November 2023, following a role as a Product Design and Development Engineer II at Black Diamond Equipment, where focus included climb helmets. Prior experience includes work as a Product Developer for technical softgoods in the climb category at Black Diamond and as a Product Design and Development Engineer at Tarptent, Inc., responsible for ideation, design, CAD, and manufacturing feasibility. Initial industry exposure began with an internship at Tarptent in 2015, where prototype redesigns and 3D model integration were key tasks. Erica also completed a feasibility research internship at Quantalux LLC, investigating biogas systems. Academic credentials include a BSE in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, attained in 2016.
