Annemieke de Jong

Annemieke de Jong currently serves as the Executive Manager at Giro555, leading the coordination of a Dutch humanitarian relief coalition comprising ten NGOs focused on fundraising and communication during humanitarian crises. Previously, Annemieke held various positions at the IKEA Foundation for over a decade, culminating in the role of Head of Portfolio Refugee Livelihoods, where strategic efforts were directed towards fostering self-reliance among refugees in East Africa. Additional roles at the Foundation included overseeing humanitarian response initiatives and supporting senior leadership. Earlier experience includes a secretarial position at De Nederlandsche Bank during the financial crisis, and project management roles in non-profit organizations. Annemieke holds a Master of Laws and a Bachelor of Laws from Leiden University, along with a Diploma in Legal Studies from King's College London.
