Penny Bones

Penny Bones has over 30 years of work experience in the insurance industry. Penny began their career as a Group Insurance Sales Representative at Assurant in 1989, where they developed skills in cross-selling and creating enhanced insurance packages. In 2002, they became an Employee Benefits Sales Advisor at CP Benefit Services, Inc. and served as a joint owner of the brokerage firm. In this role, Penny evaluated employee benefit insurance packages, researched the insurance market, and successfully negotiated with insurance carriers. Penny remained at CP Benefit Services until 2018. Currently, Penny is working as a Regional Sales Manager at GIS Benefits, Inc. starting in 2023.

Penny Bones holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing/Marketing Management, General from Texas Christian University. In addition to their degree, Penny also has certifications including the Long-Term Care Professional (LTCP) from the state of North Carolina, as well as the North Carolina Life and Health License and the South Carolina Life and Health Group License from the respective state insurance departments.
