Thierry Abaléa

Thierry Abaléa has extensive work experience in the engineering and technical field. Thierry is currently the VP of Engineering at GitGuardian since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Alma as an Engineering Director and Head of Engineering from 2021 to 2023. At Alma, they focused on providing payment solutions to merchants and customers across Europe. Before that, Thierry was an Engineering Manager at Aircall from 2020 to 2021.

Thierry has also held leadership positions as a Chief Technical Officer at crème de la crème from 2018 to 2019, where they led and mentored a team of developers to develop a new platform. Thierry also served as a Chief Technical Officer at Fluo Assurances from 2015 to 2018, where they developed solutions to optimize insurance experience and conversion.

Additionally, Thierry has experience at Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking (SGCIB) as a Technical Leader from 2008 to 2015. There, they recruited, led, and mentored teams of developers and designed various applications and services. Thierry has also worked as a Software Engineer at Degetel from 2008 to 2011 and at Atos from 2001 to 2007.
