Abdulfattah Popoola

AbdulFattah Popoola is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in software engineering and management. Currently serving as Staff Engineering Manager for Dependabot at GitHub, AbdulFattah has previously held senior management roles at Twitter, overseeing Direct Messages and its backend, and at Microsoft, where responsibilities included managing teams for OneNote and Dynamics 365 Marketing. Earlier experience includes a role as a Research Engineer at Sustainable Health Lab and research assistantship during graduate studies at Masdar Institute of Science and Technology. AbdulFattah holds a Master's Degree in Computing and Information Science from Masdar Institute and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University.
