Bryce Watson

Bryce Watson has a diverse range of work experience. Bryce's most recent position was as a Product UX Designer at GitKraken starting in April 2023. Prior to that, Bryce worked at YOKE from January to March 2023 as a Senior UX Designer. At YOKE, Bryce led design efforts for a sports-focused crowd fundraising platform, created high fidelity mockups using user-centered design, and acted as a technical accessibility consultant.

Between September 2022 and January 2023, Bryce worked at AllVoices as a Full Stack Developer and Product Design Lead. In these roles, Bryce was responsible for writing clean, high-quality, and maintainable code, leading and performing design activities, and supporting the test and deployment of new products and features.

From June 2021 to May 2022, Bryce was a Product Design Lead at Functionize, where they were the sole designer for the Functionize testing automation suite. Bryce originated and maintained an atomic design system and overhauled core functionality.

Before that, Bryce worked at Elavon, Inc. from November 2020 to June 2021 as a UX Designer, and from August 2018 to November 2020 as a Junior UX Designer. Bryce also worked at the Georgia Institute of Technology in various roles, including Primary Teaching Assistant and Substitute Teaching Assistant.

Other roles in Bryce's work history include being a Research Assistant, Information Technology Support Assistant, and Resident Advisor at the Georgia Institute of Technology, a Barista at Blue Donkey Coffee, a Marketing Representative at Insomnia Cookies, and a Project Management Co-op at Landis+Gyr.

Throughout Bryce's career, they have demonstrated expertise in UX design, product development, code development, user research, and project management.

Bryce Watson completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree with Honor in Computer Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2014 to 2019. In addition to their degree, Bryce has obtained various certifications including the Foundations of Git - Certification Course from GitKraken in April 2023, and multiple certifications related to accessibility and web development from Deque Systems, Inc and LinkedIn. The certifications cover subjects such as accessibility program management, customer service for people with disabilities, document accessibility, IAAP CPACC certification preparation, IAAP WAS certification preparation, native mobile apps development, web accessibility, Amazon Web Services solutions architecture, SEO expertise, project management, user experience design, API testing and validation, and various web development disciplines.
