Brian Halderman has held multiple positions in various organizations since 2002. Brian began their career as a Novice with the Marianist Province of the United States. In 2004, they became a Distance Learning and Web Support Specialist in the Institute for Pastoral Initiatives at the University of Dayton. From 2006 to 2007, they were a Graduate Student Intern at Logos School, Alliance for Building Capacity, George Warren Brown School of Social Work, Washington University in St. Louis, and Instituto Chaminade Marianistas. In 2007, they became the Director of Aspirancy Formation Program for the Marianist Province of the United States. In 2013, they worked as a Case Manager for St. Peter - St. Joseph Children's Home (St. PJ's). From 2014 to 2017, they were a Director of Community Engagement & Success, Senior Director of Success & Outreach, Associate Director for Service Learning, and Director of the Center for Civic Engagement at The University of Texas at San Antonio. Finally, they have been an Adjunct Faculty and University Minister for Social Justice at St. Mary's University since 2008.
Brian Halderman obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Religious Studies from the University of Dayton between 1995 and 1999. Brian also received a Community Leadership and Service Certification and Lay Ministry Certification from the University of Dayton in May 1998 and May 1999, respectively. In 2005, they completed a Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) from Washington University in St. Louis. In June 2012, they were awarded a Licensed Master Social Worker from the Texas State Board of Social Work Examiners.
