Johan Rostoft

Johan Rostoft's work experience includes various roles at different companies and organizations. Johan is currently working at Gjensidige as the Konserndirektør / EVP Technology and Insight since September 2023. Prior to this, they were the CEO and CTO of SAYFR, an organization focused on changing culture in organizations where safety and failure management are important. Johan held this role from March 2020 to August 2023.

Johan also served as a Board Member at Carousell from November 2019 to January 2022. Johan was a Trustee of the WWF International Board from January 2016 to January 2022 and also served as the Chairman of the Board from September 2010 to May 2017.

Furthermore, Johan served as the Chairman of the Board at Sayfr AS from April 2017 to January 2021. Johan also had various roles at Telenor Group, including SVP, Head of Online Classifieds, and SVP, Advisor to the CEO. Johan worked at Telenor Group from October 2015 to March 2020.

Johan has also served as the Managing Director at 701Search Pte Ltd from October 2017 to November 2019 and as a Board Member at Alliance Venture Spring from April 2016 to March 2018. Johan started their career as a Senior Associate at McKinsey & Company in 1999.

Johan Rostoft completed their MSc in Politics of the World Economy at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2002 to 2003. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Offshore Engineering at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from 1994 to 1999, where they obtained the degree of Siv.ing. Additionally, Johan Rostoft attended the University of California, Berkeley from 1997 to 1998, where they pursued an MSc in Naval Architecture/Offshore Engineering. In 1991-1992, they also attended Chichester College, but no specific degree or field of study was provided.
